Our Initiatives

At Learn & Do Academy, our work is grounded in three essential expressions of regenerative living: Shelter, Food, and Voice. These core initiatives foster personal growth and community resilience through hands-on learning, creative expression, and a shared purpose for a thriving future.

This initiative explores regenerative design and alternative building practices that restore ecosystems while meeting human needs. Learners engage with low-impact materials, thoughtful design, and hands-on construction methods that move beyond sustainability toward renewal and resilience.

Focused on nourishment at every level, and co-led by Curtis and Elizabeth Letner, this initiative invites learners to explore regenerative food practices, whole-food nutrition, and the relationships between soil, body, and community. Through practical learning and shared meals, food becomes a pathway to vitality, connection, and care.

The Writing & Storytelling initiative empowers learners of all ages to discover and express their authentic voice. Through personal narrative, creative writing, and transformational storytelling, participants learn to shape meaning from experience and contribute stories that strengthen identity, lineage, and community.
